Raiders cornerback/safety TJ Carrie is out for Sunday’s game in Pittsburgh against the Steelers.
Carrie was limited all week in practice with shoulder and hip injuries and the Raiders provided a clue he might miss this game when they signed Tevin McDonald to the active roster on Saturday.
McDonald is active and could help fill some of Carrie’s role, although Larry Asante would be expected to start in Carrie’s place.
Roy Helu Jr. is also inactive. He’s recently seen his offensive playing time limited to the fourth quarter when the Raiders have been holding big leads.
