TJ Carrie: “I’m good. Just bruised up from the game.”

The Raiders aren’t in the position in their secondary to afford losing safety/cornerback TJ Carrie for a lengthy period.

While coach Jack Del Rio has said his injury — termed during Sunday’s game as a chest injury — doesn’t appear to be long-term, he wasn’t out on the practice field at the start of Wednesday’s practice.

Whether he’s able to play or not Sunday is unknown and Carrie isn’t allowed to shed any light.

“I’m not allowed to really specifically talk about that,” Carrie said in the locker room before practice.

While Carrie couldn’t get into specifics, he confirmed the injury happened on his 22-yard punt return and did give some indications it’s not serious and maybe just a tick beyond the normal wear and tear experienced during a game.
