It’s clear a major strategic move this offseason by new Las Vegas Raiders’ general manager Tom Telesco was to strengthen the team’s quarterback play by bolstering the tight end position.
That was one of the reasons why Telesco took Georgia tight end Brock Bowers with the No. 13 pick even though the didn’t need a tight end and they have greater needs at right tackle and cornerbacks which were stocked with available players when they were on the clock.
Bowers will team with promising 2023 second-round pick (who the previous regime traded up to draft) Michael Mayer.
