Storms in the area as Raiders ready for exhibition with Vikings

Thunderstorms are in the area, and there have already been several lightning strikes, as the Raiders hope to get in their preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings.

The field was cleared at TCF Bank Stadium about two hours before kickoff, although around 5:25 p.m., some players and other game personnel began to trickle back onto the field. They didn’t last much more than five minutes before the field and stands were cleared again.

The current forecast calls for a 25 percent chance of rain at kickoff at 7 p.m., with thunderstorms scheduled to hit around 8 p.
