HOUSTON – Raiders and Chargers brass broke bread in a private room of the Westin Memorial City on Monday night, discussing details of a joint stadium proposal in Carson that could allow both teams to relocate to Los Angeles.
Disney CEO Bob Iger was there. So was Carson front man Carmen Policy.
Neither Chargers chairman Dean Spanos nor Raiders owner Mark Davis discussed the details of that meeting, but reemphasized their commitment to the Carson project.
Davis didn’t stop to speak with reporters long, but said he was “absolutely” confident in the Carson project.
That is one option up for debate at this special NFL owners meeting, taking place Tuesday and Wednesday in Houston.
