The Raiders have released wide receiver Seth Roberts, a source told the Bay Area News Group on Thursday.
Roberts, who the Raiders signed as an undrafted free agent out of West Alabama in 2014, was one of six players remaining on the Raiders who had been with the team since 2015 and one of only three who had been with the team since 2014. Quarterback Derek Carr (2014), defensive tackle Justin Ellis (2014), guard Gabe Jackson (2014), center Rodney Hudson (2015) and tight end Lee Smith (2015) are the others in those groups.
Roberts caught 159 passes for 1,827 yards and 13 touchdowns in his four years on Oakland’s active roster (he spent his entire rookie season in 2014 on the practice squad).
