ALAMEDA, Calif. -- A one-season trial run for a forgotten standout receiver and a team desperate for a veteran presence at the position has blossomed into a long-term relationship that will benefit both sides for Michael Crabtree and the Oakland Raiders.
The Raiders and Crabtree have agreed upon a contract extension that will soon be signed, according to ESPN's Adam Caplan and multiple reports. The deal is for four years and worth $35 million, including nearly $19 million guaranteed, according to NFL.com.
The team will not comment until a deal is officially signed.
