HENDERSON, Nev. -- The Las Vegas Raiders are "closing in" on re-signing unrestricted free agent linebacker Nicholas Morrow, a league source told ESPN.
Morrow, who joined the Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2017 out of Division III Greenville University in Illinois, was the Raiders' most dependable linebacker last season, when Las Vegas brought in a pair of high-priced free agents in middle linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski and weakside linebacker Cory Littleton.
In starting a career-best 11 games, Morrow had career highs in tackles (77), tackles for loss (8), sacks (3), passes defensed (9) and fumble recoveries (1), while tying career bests with an interception (of Drew Brees) and a forced fumble.
