Former Raiders wideout James Jones will return to the NFC, as he is set to sign a deal with the New York Giants.
The deal is set to be for one year, CSN reporter Fallon Smith was told.
Jones was released by the Raiders after the conclusion of the 2014 NFL season, and following the draft.
The 31-year-old played seven seasons with the Green Bay Packers and won a Super Bowl during his tenure there.
James Jones just informed me he will be signing a 1 year deal with the NY Giants. He leaves for NY tomorrow.
