MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- The Dolphins have agreed to a one-year contract with running back Alexander Mattison, a source confirmed Thursday.
The former Las Vegas Raider joins a running backs room led by De'Von Achane and Jaylen Wright, who coach Mike McDaniel said the team expects to lean on in 2025.
"Right now, I feel extremely strong about who is in the room knowing it will grow by two to three people," he said at the NFL scouting combine in February. "I think part of our vision moving forward is we have high expectations of that tandem of De'Von and Jaylen and think that they give us an opportunity to really be effective handing the ball off and doing stuff in the pass game.
