The surprise selection of Georgia tight end Brock Bowers changed the way the Las Vegas Raiders’ offense will look in 2024.
The Raiders decided to team Bowers with 2023 second-round pick Michael Mayer when Bowers unexpectedly fell to No. 13 in last month’s draft. So, we will see a lot of double tight-end sets used by the Raiders this season.
One of the results of that alignment will mean we will likely see the Raiders use less three-wide receiver sets this season. But that was likely going to be the case even before Bowers was brought to town.
