I’m a sucker for Raiders history.
I can read, listen to and watch anything about the old-school Raiders, especially from the 1970s. In my mind, there is nothing in sports history that is cooler or more fascinating than those teams and those players.
Thank goodness Raiders’ coach Jon Gruden feels the same. Gruden often talks about those teams and he is proud of the franchise’s rich history. That was evident Monday as he had his players wear the jerseys of all-time Raiders’ greats.
Quarterback Derek Carr was wearing a Ken Stabler jersey, center Rodney Hudson was wearing a Jim Otto jersey, Kolton Miller was rocking an Art Shell jersey and so on.
