A highlight of the 2023 Las Vegas Raiders was how explosive an improved defense was when it came to scoring points.
Of course, the Raiders made history when they scored two touchdowns on defense in back-to-back games, victories over AFC West rivals the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs in December.
That helped the Raiders be one of the league leaders in points scored off of turnover margin. It was based on points scored minus points allowed after turnovers. The Raiders were plus 15 points. That was the 11th best margin in the league.
