It looks as if we can be preparing to see a full stadium for Raiders games this upcoming season. MGM Resorts president and CEO Bill Hornbuckle said yesterday that the company is working with Gov. Steve Sisolak to open Allegiant Stadium at full capacity by the fall.
“I know this fall we’ll have a full stadium for the Raiders,” Hornbuckle said. “I’m hoping by July Fourth weekend the community is in a place where we can just do what we normally do and have some fun.”
A few weeks ago, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said he expects NFL stadiums to be at full capacity for the upcoming season, so this doesn’t come as too much of a surprise.
