The Las Vegas Raiders pulled off the upset, playing a physical style of football. They defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 20-14 behind a gutsy defensive performance reminiscent of older Raiders teams.
With the defense scoring two touchdowns on the day, offensively, they scored only six points on the day off of two field goals. Aidan O’Connell only completed passes on one drive, and the Raiders were stuck in the mud for most of the game. If Zamir White hadn’t had a big game, it could have been a loss for the Raiders.
O’Connell is ready to bounce back and is happy that football is a team game.
