ALAMEDA — The Raiders came out of their win over the Denver Broncos feeling fortunate about cornerback Gareon Conley, but could have a serious injury issue with safety Johnathan Abram.
Abram hurt his shoulder in a 24-16 win over the Denver Broncos, and there is a possibility of surgery and being placed on injured reserve, which at a minimum would wipe out half of his rookie season.
The story was first reported by ESPN’s Josina Anderson and confirmed by a team source.
My understanding is that #Raiders 1st-round pick, starting safety Jonathan Abram, will seek a second opinion/examination of his shoulder area, at this time, per source.
