Every year there is a NFL Supplemental Draft for college players that became ineligible after the draft already occurred. Normally, the supplemental draft comes and goes without much of a mention because it’s rare for a player to be worth considering giving up a draft pick in next year’s draft for to be in it.
The last time the Raiders used a draft pick in the supplemental draft was in 2011 for Terrelle Pryor when Al Davis used a 3rd round pick to acquire the then quarterback. The next year the Browns used a 2nd round pick to grab wide receiver Josh Gordon, and then in 2015 the Rams took offensive lineman Isiah Battle (now with Seattle) with a 5th round pick.
