ALAMEDA, Calif. -- The Oakland Raiders have yet to announce their 10-man practice squad but eight signings were made, as seen on the NFL transactions wire.
And all eight were players that were cut by Oakland the day before, including edge rusher Shilique Calhoun, a third-round pick in 2016, and running back Elijah Hood, a seventh-round pick this past spring.
A fan favorite who was cut in undrafted free agent linebacker LaTroy Lewis, who had three sacks and a fumble return for a touchdown for the Raiders in the preseason, announced on Twitter he was headed to Houston, presumably for the Texans practice squad, though he was not listed on their roster Sunday night.
