The Las Vegas Raiders have added a lot of key veterans in recent seasons and one may not get enough praise and respect as the signing of safety Marcus Epps.
The previous regime signed Epps to a two-year, $12 million contract as a free agent from the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023. Epps, in his fifth NFL seasons and second as a full-time starter, had 66 tackles.
He was a stabilzing force in the secondary and a big reason why the Las Vegas defense improved in 2023. It hasn’t taken new Las Vegas safeties coach Gerard Alexander to realize how of an important piece Epps is to his position room and the defense as a whole.
