Coming into Sunday sitting at 1-4, the Oakland Raiders have not gotten off to the kind of start they would have liked to in Jon Gruden’s second tenure as head coach. They have been in nearly every game this season, actually leading at halftime in most, but have not been able to put teams away.
Last weekend, the Raiders put together their worst performance of the season, as they went into Los Angeles and laid an egg against the division rival Chargers. They had a real opportunity to get back to .500 before the Bye Week with a victory last weekend, but now they will have to settle for a 2-4 record at best with a win on Sunday.
