Safety Tevin McDonald is back on the Raiders’ active 53-man roster.
The Raiders signed McDonald for the second time in recent weeks and released safety Taylor Mays to create space.
McDonald was also on the 53-man roster for the Raiders’ Week 2 win over the Baltimore Ravens, but did not play. He was waived when the team claimed David Amerson off waivers from Washington and returned to the practice squad.
McDonald, the son of former Pro Bowl safety Tim McDonald and brother of St. Louis Rams safety T.J. McDonald, was originally signed in May as a undrafted free agent out of Eastern Washington.
