Run game and Josh Jacobs are keys for the Raiders to make playoffs

Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs was controversial since he was chosen 24th overall in 2019. The famous don't take a running back in the first round cliché became prevalent when websites were handing out draft grades.

Jacob's rookie season laid to rest the talking points for a while. During his freshman campaign, Jacobs put out dominant performances with 1150 yards rushing and 4.8 YPC. In next-gen stats, rush yards over expectation per attempt Jacobs was fourth in the NFL. It was a memorable opening season for the Alabama back.

The Past two seasons are underwhelming.
