Jon Gruden will be introduced as the Raiders’ next head coach on Tuesday, per multiple reports.
Steve Corkran first reported the news, saying the Raiders are planning a “splashy” press conference for the former Oakland head coach.
“I’m in Kansas City freezing my ass off. I have not heard that,” Gruden told the Bay Area News Group’s Jerry McDonald over the phone Friday. “I expect to hear something soon. I’m getting ready to go meet (Titans defensive coordinator) Dick LeBeau.”
Gruden is in Kansas City to call Saturday’s AFC Wild Card game between the Chiefs and Titans for ESPN.
