ALAMEDA — Left tackle Donald Penn will have surgery on his injured foot and miss his last two games of the season, according to an NFL Network report Monday
Penn left after six plays with the injury, and was replaced at left tackle by Marshall Newhouse, with Vadal Alexander moving to the right side.
The Raiders played well in Penn’s absence, averaging 5.3 yards per carry on the ground and holding Dallas without a sack.
Penn sat out training camp in a contract hold out and was eventually successful, leaving him under contract for the 2018 season with a cap number of $8.
