ALAMEDA — Martavis Bryant, the wide receiver acquired for a third-round draft pick and released at the cutdown to 53 players, was at the Raiders facility Tuesday and talking to the club about a possible return, according to an NFL Network report.
Sources to me and @RapSheet: WR Martavis Bryant is back at #Raiders’ facility today, talking with the team about a possible return to Oakland. Still nothing official on a suspension for Bryant, so he’s eligible.
Bryant, according to Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie and coach Jon Gruden, was released for competitive reasons and not because of a reported looming year-long suspension for violation of the NFL’s policy on substance abuse.
