It appears Raiders head coach Jon Gruden was right to express his concern about running back Marshawn Lynch on Tuesday.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Friday that Lynch will miss at least a month, and possibly more, because of a groin injury confirmed by an MRI this week. Gruden had called it a strain on Tuesday while adding the Raiders were “hopeful that we can continue to use (Lynch).”

That would become far less likely if Lynch were to be placed on injured reserve, something that Rapoport on Friday termed a “strong possibility.
