The Raiders fear a suspension for new wide receiver Martavis Bryant, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported Thursday night.
The report stated the situation is believed to pertain to the league’s substance abuse policy. Bryant, who the Raiders traded a third-round pick for during the 2018 NFL Draft, missed the entire 2016 season with the Pittsburgh Steelers for violations of the policy.
A potential suspension doesn’t necessarily mean Bryant failed another drug test, as the Review-Journal noted failure to attend a scheduled exam might be reason for discipline, too.
