The Raiders have an agreement in principle with Baltimore Ravens lineman Kelechi Osemele and will sign him when the NFL free agency period opens Wednesday, according to an NFL Network report.
Osemele, 6-foot-5, 330 pounds and considered one of the big names the free agent market, has been primarily a guard but can also play tackle. The agreement was reported Tuesday morning by Rand Getlin of the NFL Network and not confirmed by the Raiders.
Estimates for an Osemele contract range between $9 million and $11 million per season. The Raiders opened free agency last season by adding an interior lineman, signing center Rodney Hudson to a five-year, $44.
