Hardly a surprise, but Mark Davis plans to take the Oakland Raiders to Las Vegas. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Davis is just about set to file the official relocation papers.
After officially filing for relocation, the final step for Davis will be to get 24 votes from fellow NFL Owners — a vote that will come in late March.
While Ronnie Lott and company scramble to make an 11th hour deal to keep the Raiders in Oakland, most accounts say their proposal is not viable. The longer the city of Oakland goes without a solution, the more likely it is that the Raiders leave the city for the second time.
