Report: Oakland Raiders looking to add quarterbacks coach

We know that head coach Jon Gruden and offensive coordinator Greg Olson know what they are doing in terms of coaching quarterbacks. While the Raiders did hire 13 assistant coaches over a week ago, one position group vacancy that was not filled was quarterbacks coach with the 2018 Oakland Raiders.

Though the Raiders don’t technically need to hire one, given Gruden and Olson’s track record, it does seem that the Silver and Black could be adding one more coach to help Derek Carr and company’s growth.

According to The MMQB’s Albert Breer, the Raiders interviewed two candidates for quarterbacks coach on Thursday: Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Tim Rattay and former Detroit Lions quarterbacks coach Brian Callahan.
