Less than a week after the Raiders released him, Marquette King is joining one of the team’s biggest rivals. The flamboyant punter reportedly has agreed to a three-year contract with the Denver Broncos.
According to 9News’ Mike Klis, King will replace incumbent punter Riley Dixon in Denver.

King was released Friday after spending six seasons with the Raiders and becoming one of the top punters in the NFL. The Raiders saved $2.9 million in salary by cutting King, but are currently left with ex-UC Davis punter Colby Wadman, who hasn’t punted in the NFL.
