Former Raiders cornerback Sean Smith will reportedly be released from jail next month, a lot earlier than expected after he pled guilty to assaulting his sister’s then-boyfriend last year.
Smith is expected to be leave jail in Southern California on Sept. 5, according to TMZ. Smith’s good behavior behind bars, coupled with jail overcrowding, helped lead to him being released after serving less than half of his one-year sentence for his brutal assault on Christopher Woods in Pasadena in 2017.
