ALAMEDA — When Reggie McKenzie came aboard as general manager in 2012, he worked with the existing personnel staff through his first NFL draft and was complimentary about the work of the department in its aftermath.
Then he got to work.
McKenzie reorganized the entire department, including the dismissal of longtime scouts Jon Kingdon and Bruce Kebric, with longtime exec George Karras and scout Kent McCloughan retiring.
Six years later, with coach Jon Gruden atop the chain of command, after both the head coach and the general manager said they were pleased with their first off-season collaboration, more change is on the way, according to a Sporting News report.
