There is one downside of covering and following a franchise with a rich history like the Las Vegas Raiders.
We lose too many heroes.
Sadness struck the Raider Nation once again Sunday night when the team announced Pro Football Hall of Fame center Jim Otto has died. He was 86 years old.
Like so many Raiders’ legends such as Al Davis, Jack Tatum, Gene Upshaw, George Blanda, Ken Stabler, Ray Guy, John Madden and Willie Brown, we must bid farewell to another special member of this franchise’s history.
