The Oakland Raiders secondary was bad last season, and I mean really bad, and the team went out and got some reinforcements this offseason. Oakland brought in guys like Marcus Gilchrist, Rashaan Melvin, and Daryl Worley, all of whom are expected to play big roles for the team in 2018.
One holdover from last year’s team is Reggie Nelson, who has actually started all 32 games he has played for the Raiders since coming over from Cincinnati for the 2016 campaign. This offseason, the Raiders brought in his former defensive coordinator with the Bengals, Paul Guenther, who should make this defense much better this season.
