With a couple of weeks to go before training camp starts, we’ve been working our way through these AFC West position rankings and might have reached the best one yet for the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders have a couple of strong edge defenders in Maxx Crosby and Malcolm Koonce, both of whom crack the top five within the division.
1. Maxx Crosby, Las Vegas Raiders
There’s no argument with who deserves the top spot among AFC West edge rushers as Crosby is one of the best in the entire NFL. Not only did he rank fourth at the position with 94 pressures during the regular season last year, according to Pro Football Focus, but he’s also become one of the best run-defenders in the league recently.
