The annual make-defensive-players-feel-not-marketable event is coming up. It’s the NFLPA Rookie premiere. And this year it will feature two Raiders players, neither of whom are their pick at 4th overall, Clelin Ferrell.
It’s an event which NFLPA president Ahmad Nassar describes thusly:
“The NFLPA Rookie Premiere is an unparalleled opportunity for partners to engage with tomorrow’s most influential athletes. For the first time as professionals and following in the footsteps of Russell Wilson, Saquon Barkley and Baker Mayfield, this year’s rookies will learn about the business of football from union leadership as they start to build a plan to succeed beyond their playing careers while connecting on a personal level with partners who share their passion for the game.
