This week we saw an unlikely snap count leader for the Raiders. It’s safety Erik Harris who was on the field for a combined 81 snaps between defense and special teams.
Harris played 59 snaps (88%) on defense and 22 snaps (79%) on special teams. He would finish third on the team with 7 combined tackles (2 solo) along with an interception and a pass defended. The pick pretty much closed out the game, stopping the Broncos final attempt to score.
With starters Gareon Conley and Daryl Worley both out, the Raiders went safety heavy most of the game, with Karl Joseph and Marcus Gilchrist playing every defensive snap (67).
