Raiders tight end Clive Walford will miss spring practices following a knee injury suffered in an ATV accident, FOX Sports reported.
Walford is expected back for training camp. The injury occured earlier this offseason — it’s unclear exactly when — and Walford is reportedly weeks removed from his surgery and doing a lot better.
Walford, a third-round pick out of Miami in 2015, missed most of training camp last seasson with a hamstring injury. He caught 27 passes for 329 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games. He is one of three tight ends who see playing time for Oakland, along with starter Lee Smith ansd Mychal Rivera.
