The Raiders waived safety Tevin McDonald again on Thursday as the likely precursor to activating Nate Allen in time for Sunday’s game against the Vikings.
McDonald continues to ping pong off and on the Raiders roster. This is the third time he has been waived and he’s spent three games on the team’s active roster. He could to the practice squad again after clearing waivers. The Raiders have an opening on the 10-member squad.
Allen hasn’t formally been activated, but he is eligible to return for Sunday’s game and the team continues to indicate he will play.
