Sio Moore’s time with the Raiders is over.
Oakland traded the outcast linebacker to the Colts on Friday, acquiring a late-round 2016 draft pick for the talented player who had found himself in coach Jack Del Rio’s doghouse. The NFL Network reported it’s a sixth-round pick.
“This has been more than a home to me,” Moore tweeted Friday. “So much [of] my heart is in the bay.”
Moore played very little in the two exhibition games in which he was active. It was all special teams duty until he saw 10 snaps of defense in the fourth quarter of Thursday’s exhibition finale in Seattle.
