Adam Schefter reports that Jon Gruden is signing a 10-year contract that is likely to be worth $100 million to become the Raiders’ next head coach.
According to Schefter, this is the longest coaching deal in NFL history.
Steve Corkran is reporting that the Raiders will introduce Jon Gruden as their next head coach on Tuesday in a “splashy” news conference.
The Raiders recently fulfilled the Rooney Rule requirement by interviewing two minority candidates for their head coaching job this week.
However, all indications have been that Gruden was going to be getting the job.
