While the Las Vegas Raiders made a few changes from last week, the Raiders seemed to follow the same script during their Week 6 32-13 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Las Vegas swapped out Gardner Minshew for Aidan O’Connell and the results were no different than last weekend in Denver. The Raiders’ offense got out to a hot start, putting together a 10-play, 70-yard touchdown drive where the team never even saw a third down. However, a collection of three-and-outs, three turnovers (two fumbles and an interception) and a blocked punt followed.
O’Connell finished the game by completing 27 of 40 passes for 227 yards and a garbage-time touchdown—in addition to the pick—to put up a respectable stat line, but the difference between his and Minshew’s impact on the offense was minimal at best.
