Raiders start up general manager search with two candidates

While the coaching search is still hot, the Las Vegas Raiders are now beginning to make the rounds for their next general manager.

Former general manager Tom Telesco was fired on Thursday, giving the Raiders a clean slate to work with this offseason. Minority owner Tom Brady likely had something to do with the decision, wanting the new coach and general manager to work together on a singular vision.

A little over a week in to finding possible coaching candidates, and the Raiders have now sent their first two requests for interviews to potential GMs.

According to Tampa Bay Times writer Rick Stroud, the Raiders have scheduled an interview Tampa Bay Buccaneers assistant GM John Spytek.
