MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - Factors contributing to the Raiders’ defense falling apart late in a 28-20 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday did not include overuse.
The Raiders’ defense was on the field for just 44 snaps - compared to 76 snaps for the offense - another indication of how thoroughly they controlled most of Sunday’s game. The Raiders had a significant edge in time of possession - 38:31 to 21:29 - and first downs - 25 to 13 - and still fell to 0-3 on the season.
