Two days following the cutdown deadline which included the release of Martavis Bryant, the Raiders have made another move at receiver, signing Brandon LaFell to a one-year deal according to his agent.
The 31-year-old receiver had spent the past two seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals and was released in early August.
He was in a battle for playing time at receiver heading into camp and asked for his release.
“We have been lobbying for his release for some time now and appreciate the Bengals granting our request,” LaFell’s agent Jonathan Feinsod told NFL.
