Walford is the ninth of the team’s 10 draft picks from the 2015 NFL Draft to sign his rookie contract, joining WR Amari Cooper, G/C Jon Feliciano, LB Ben Heeney, LB Neiron Ball, DE Max Valles, T Anthony Morris, WR Andre Debose and CB Dexter McDonald.
The 6-foot-4, 251-pounder was selected 68th overall by the Raiders in the 2015 NFL Draft. He played four seasons at Miami (Fla.), appearing in 49 games with 35 starts and setting all major school tight end receiving records.
