Raiders sign third-round pick Eddie Vanderdoes

The Oakland Raiders have signed their 2017 third-round draft pick, former UCLA defensive tackle Eddie Vanderdoes. The team made the announcement on Wednesday.

Vanderdoes had been ineligible to participate in the team’s offseason workout programs, which included OTA’s and rookie mini-camp, due to a rule that prohibits players who attended schools that use a quarter system for their academic calendar. With Vanderdoes now signed, he’ll be a full go for training camp.

Vanderdoes shared the same picture the team used in their announcement on his personal Instagram account, but with a caption.

He also had a message for Raider Nation:

“Finally got it done; it’s sealed.
