Reggie McKenzie sure does love his Friday’s. Even prior to a three-day weekend, the reigning Executive of the Year was at the office getting deals done. The Oakland Raiders announced that they have signed their first rookie draft selection of the offseason, seventh-round pick and former North Carolina running back Elijah Hood.
Hood was one of the team’s four seventh-round selection — the third one, to be specific — after McKenzie traded out of the sixth round to pickup two seventh round picks in exchange. He already had two picks in the round, thanks to a trade of Dewey McDonald to the Seattle Seahawks in 2016.
