After seeing two key defensive players leave in free agency Monday, the Las Vegas Raiders made a significant addition in that side of the ball Monday as they reportedly signed safety Jeremy Chinn of the Washington Commanders.

Chinn is signing a two-year, $16-plus million deal with the Raiders with about $12 million in guaranteed money, according to Fox.

Chinn replaces safety Tre’von Moehrig in Las Vegas. Moehrig, a 2021 second-round pick, had a three-year, $51 million deal with the Carolina Panthers earlier Monday. Also, Monday, Raiders middle linebacker Robert Spillane signed a three-year, $37.
